Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Ukraine

The aim of the Association is to coordinate and consolidatdate the Ukrainian IT-companies efforts for solution of their professional activity problems, which are of common interest.

Founded in 2004, the Association includes the leading Ukrainain computer hardware and software distributors, producers, retail networks, representation offices of foreign vendors.

The Association:

  • consolidates the efforts of its members for creation of the most favourable conditions for their activity;
  • develops the common rules for co-operation with partners and consumers;
  • coordinates activities in sphere of drafting and lobbying the laws and regulations, which define relations within tne IT-market;
  • actively promotes the creation of conditions for the further development of the IT-branch.

The Association is represented in many government bodies, including

  • the Council of National Associations of Manufacturers under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine,
  • the Board of the Civil Council under the State Customs Service of Ukraine

The Association co-operates with Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Economy, Antimonopoly Committee, Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on transport and communications.

In 2007 the Association has been reformed with the aim of enlargement of its influence on IT-market of Ukraine and for attraction of new members. Now the Association represents and protects interests of the majority of the distribution channel participants: from the vendors, through the distributors, producers and dealers to retail sellers and system integrators. The Association is a powerful professional body, which affects the state policy in the sphere of IT and represents interests of national IT- business.
